Small, but mighty…
Keener Customs is a licensed Michigan builder working toward full-service design-build — blending the art of architecture with the precision of construction. Our founder brings a mechanical engineering degree, a completed Master of Architecture (with architectural licensure in progress), and more than 20 years of hands-on design and construction experience. But the work you see is the work of a team.
Our passion for building started early, working on a variety of projects from small family residential projects growing into to large and luxurious commercial and residential new builds. Our formative years as a company, learning how to do things the RIGHT way, shaped a standard we now hold across every crew member who steps on a job site: careful craftsmanship, clean details, and finishes that hold up years after the final walkthrough. Our carpenters, finish crew, and project leads have spent careers refining their trades, and we build the schedule around getting each phase into the right hands.
We specialize in turning a vision into something real — working closely with clients from first sketch through final punch list. Whether it's custom furniture, an architectural detail drawn from scratch, a high-end remodel, or a luxury new build, the goal is the same: impeccable quality and timeless beauty, delivered by people who take it personally.
